Overview

Eastern Oregon University, also referred to as EOU, is located in La Grande, Oregon, United States. It was established in the year 1929 and was originally known as the Eastern Oregon Normal School. EOU is under the Oregon University System. It is the only Oregon university that does not charge higher tuition fees to out-of-state residents or international students. Students are offered master, bachelor, and associate degrees in subject areas such as nursing, business, and accounting. EOU has three colleges under it:

  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • College of Business
  • College of Education

Eastern Oregon University sponsors more than 70 student clubs and organizations including Chemistry Club, Newman Club, and Track and Field Club. The students also participate in sports such as baseball, basketball, golf, football, and softball.
