Eastern Wyoming College

Eastern Wyoming College, also referred to as the EWC, was established in 1948 in Torrington, Wyoming. It is a public community college committed to providing post-secondary education. The EWC has a residential college campus which provides meal plans. The college caters to around 1500 students.

Eastern Wyoming College offers a variety of programs in Agriculture, Biology, Accounting, Computer Science, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Music, Mathematics and Education. This institution has provisions for pre-professional courses too, such as Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Medicine, and others.

The EWC fields both men’s and women’s sports teams in basketball, volleyball, golf and rodeo. The college chose the Lancer as their mascot in 1968. Several student clubs and organizations operate in the college. Apart from the biology club block and the art club, there are athletics clubs such as the intercollegiate horse showing club.
