Overview

Eastfield College was established in 1970 and is part of the County Community College District (CCCD). The campus is located in Mesquite, Texas. The college offers a number of degree and certificate programs. Some of the academic departments of Eastfield College are business administration, automotive technology, geographic information systems, and computer information technology. Scholarships offered by the college are the Eastfield College Academy of Science and Technology Scholarship, Oscar Blair Memorial Scholarship, Eastfield College SECC Scholarship, and many more.

Eastfield College has numerous student organizations and clubs including the Anime Society, Baptist Student Ministry, Basketball Booster Club, Communications Club, Eastfield Alliance for Social Tolerance, Journalism Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta, and Spanish Club.

The sports teams of Eastfield College are known as the Harvesters and compete in the NJCAA Division III. The men’s teams include baseball, tennis, and basketball. The women’s teams include volleyball, soccer, and tennis.
