Edgewood College

Edgewood College was established in 1927 as a school of higher education for Catholic women. It was founded by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. It became a senior, four-year college in 1940. The college is beautifully nestled in an area of more than 50 acres in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. It offers a wide variety of degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study and boasts of an enrollment of approximately 2,500 students per semester. Edgewood is made up of the following academic units:

  • School of Integrative Studies
  • School of Nursing

The athletics department of Edgewood College fields a number of men's and women's sports teams such as basketball, cross country, soccer, golf, softball, tennis, and volleyball. They compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. They are nicknamed the Eagles and their mascot is known as Eddy the Eagle.
