Elmira Business Institute, also known as EBI, was established in 1858. The institute was founded as Elmira Business and Shorthand College. The Elmira, New York campus of Elmira Business Institute is the main campus, while the other campus is in Vestal, New York. which opened in 2003. The institute offers certificates and associate’s degrees in a variety of programs such as medical assisting, medical coding and billing, office technologies and general business (accounting).
Elmira Business Institute offers loans and scholarships as financial assistance to the students. The institute also offers free placement assistance to all the graduates on successful completion of their courses. The students are also encouraged to take up externships which would prepare them for future employment.
