Overview
Emmanuel College Boston, commonly referred to as Emmanuel College, is a private, four-year, Catholic, liberal arts institute located in Boston, Massachusetts, United states. It was established in the year 1919 as a women’s college by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. It became coeducational in the year 2001. It offers enrollment to more than 2,000 students.
Emmanuel College Boston offers majors in the areas of arts, biology, management, performance arts, education, languages, gender and women’s studies, religious studies, mathematics, information technology, and sociology, among others. Online courses in various subjects are also available.
Students of Emmanuel College are involved in a large number of clubs and organizations. These include the Art Club, Emmanuel College History Organization, Emmanuel College Theater Guild, America Reads, Black Student Union, ACCENT - Multicultural Club, Campus DJs, and Filmmakers at Emmanuel.
