Overview
Endicott College is located in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States. It was established in 1939. It was founded by Dr. Eleanor Tupper and Dr. George O. Bierkoe. Originally, it was a two-year women’s college, and the first class graduated in 1941. It was named after John Endicott, the first Colonial Governor of Naumkeag. The college adopted its current name in 1975. It became coeducational in 1994. The college campus covers approximately 230 acres in Beverly, Massachusetts. It offers several bachelor and master degrees to students.
Endicott College supports a large number of student clubs and organizations including Alpha Phi Sigma, Intercultural Club, Math and Computer Science Club, Psi Chi, Amnesty International, Lambda Pi Eta, Rotaract Service Club, Athletic Training Club, Endicott College Crew Club, and Sailing Club.
Endicott College participates in a wide variety of sports such as baseball, cross country, basketball, football, lacrosse, golf, tennis, volleyball, soccer, and softball. Their athletic teams are nicknamed the Gull.
