Overview

Episcopal Divinity School, EDS, is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was established in 1974 by the union of Philadelphia Divinity School, which was founded in 1858; and Episcopal Theological School, which was established in 1867. EDS offers master’s degrees and certificate programs in divinity and theological studies. It also offers a Doctor of Ministry degree, as well as continuing education courses.

Episcopal Divinity School is home to many student organizations including the Anglican, Global and Ecumenical Studies Committee, People of Color, the Student Executive Committee, Episcopal Relief and Development, and the Congregational Studies Committee.

Episcopal Divinity School offers numerous scholarship programs including the J. Rawson Collins Scholarship, the Absalom Jones Scholarship, the Lambda Scholarship, and the Luther Tucker Scholarship.
