Overview

Evergreen Valley College, also known as EVC, is a community college located in the southeastern foothills of San Jose, California, United States. The college is part of the California Community College System. It was established in 1975 with 3000 students. Today, it enrolls more than 8,000 students each year. The campus is spread across an area of more than 170 acres. EVC's student body has a diverse and ethnic mix with students from more than 70 different countries.

Student life at EVC is vibrant and active. It aims for the overall development of students. There are many student clubs and organizations on campus. There are also special organizations to assist International students with admission into the college.

EVC’s official mascot is the Hawk.
