Fairleigh Dickinson University-College At Florham

Fairleigh Dickinson University, also known as FDU, is an two-year, private university located in New Jersey, United States. It was established in 1942. FDU is the largest private university in New Jersey and serves all 21 counties of the state. The university was originally founded as Fairleigh Dickinson College and rechristened Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1956.

The university has two campuses in New Jersey:

  • The College at Florham in Morris County
  • The Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck

FDU also has a campus, called Wroxton College, located in part of rural England. In addition, The university operates the FDU-Vancouver campus in British Columbia, Canada. FDU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in several areas of study. It enrolls more than 11,000 students per year.

The student body of FDU is diverse and impressive. The university supports a number of fraternities and sororities such as Iota Phi Theta, Lambda Theta Phi, Phi Sigma Kappa, Sigma Chi, Zeta Tau Alpha, Theta Phi Alpha, Delta Phi Epsilon, and Phi Sigma Sigma. The sports teams of FDU are known as the Knights.
