Overview

Faulkner University is a private, Christian university located in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. It was established in 1942 as Montgomery Bible School. After a few name and status changes, it was renamed to Faulkner University in 1985. The university is named in honor of Dr. James H. Faulkner, Sr., supporter and chairman of the board. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

Faulkner’s athletics department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams. They compete in the NAIA and NCCAA in a wide variety of sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and American football. The football team competes in the Mid-South Conference. The sports teams are nicknamed the Eagles.
