Overview

Feather River Community College District, also known as FRC, is a two-year, community college located in Quincy, California, United States. The college campus sits on an area of more than 250 acres and has a variety of wildlife. The campus also has a resident deer herd. The college offers several degrees and certificate programs and is divided into various academic departments. FRC also offers a number of scholarship programs such as the FRC Foundation Scholarship, Cooperative Work Experience Education Scholarship, TRIO Scholarship, Plumas Bank Scholarship, and many more.

The student clubs of FRC are open to all students. Some of these organizations are the Students in Free Enterprise, Student Environmental Association, Chess and Game Club, Science, Math & Engineering Club, Art Club, Veterans Club, and College Soup: A Christian Fellowship.

FRC participates in a variety of sports including baseball, softball, men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, rodeo, and volleyball. They are called the Golden Eagles.
