Five Towns College

Five Towns College is a private institution of higher education located in Dix Hills, New York. The College was chartered in the year 1972 and founded in 1974 by Stanley G. Cohen and Lorraine Kleinman. The original proposed site for this college was in Lawrence in southwestern Nassau County, an area known as 'The Five Towns.’ The college was eventually founded in Merrick and moved to the current site in Dix Hills in 1992. The college’s campus is set across an area of 35 acres. The college offers associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s programs in diverse fields of study.

Five Towns College has an active campus life with several clubs and organizations. The Corner Pocket, Music Education Club and the Hip Hop Club are some of the student clubs and organizations. The college also offers financial assistance to its students.
