Overview

Florence-Darlington Technical College was founded in 1963, and is located in South Carolina. The college was originally founded to train people for industrial employment. The initial enrollment of the college records more than 200 students. Today, it serves Darlington, Florence, and Marion counties and operates sites in Lake City, Hartsville, and Mullins. It has a health science complex located in downtown Florence.

FDTC’s main campus comprises eight buildings, and sits upon 100 acres of land. The college awards associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates to its students.

Florence-Darlington Technical College offers numerous activities to its diverse student body. Under U.S federal FDTC is certified to register non-immigrant international students on M-1 and F-1 student visas.
