Overview
Florida Christian College Inc., commonly referred to as FCC, was established in 1976. Originally known as the Central Florida Bible College, it moved to its present location in Kissimmee, Florida, in 1985, and was christened the Florida Christian College the same year. The campus of FCC is spread across 44 acres of land
Florida Christian College offers associate’s degrees in arts and applied science, and bachelor’s degrees in arts, science, and theology. Apart from this, various certificate programs are also available. The courses are offered through the following academic divisions:
- Division of Bible
- Division of Humanities
- Division of Ministry
The athletics department of FCC sponsors men’s teams in basketball and women’s teams in volleyball. Nicknamed the Suns, the teams compete in the NCCAA Division II and the Florida Christian College Conference. Students are also members of clubs and organizations such as the Missions Outreach for Victorious Evangelism, the International Justice Mission Campus Chapter, the Journalism Club, the Photography Club, the Bikers’ Club, and Surfers for Christ.
