Overview

Florida Institute of Technology Melbourne, also nicknamed as Florida Tech, was founded in 1958, and is located in Melbourne, Florida. It was originally established as Brevard Engineering College, and was given its current name in 1966. The school has a student body of more than 6,000 as of 2008.

Florida Institute of Technology Melbourne is comprises an area of more than 100 acres. The school is divided into 6 colleges:
