Overview

Folsom Lake College is the fourth campus of Los Rios Community College District. The college received its initial accreditation in 2004. The main campus of FLC is in Folsom, while the college also operates various off-site locations in different parts of the region and 2 outreach centers:

  • El Dorado Center in Placerville
  • Rancho Cordova Center

Folsom Lake College enrolls more than 6,000 students every year. Around 1,000 different courses are offered in various areas of study. Students can opt for associates degrees in arts and sciences, or chose from over 30 certificate programs.

There are a number of clubs and organizations at Folsom Lake College, including student government, music ensembles, drama and dance clubs and international student groups. The college’s athletic teams are known as the Falcons.
