Franciscan University of Steubenville, also known as FUS, is located in Steubenville, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1946 by the Franciscan Friars of the Third Order Regular. The university was originally known as the College of Steubenville. It became a university in the year 1985. Students are offered degrees in a variety of subjects including business administration, education, computer information science, mathematical science, and sociology. There are also distance learning options available to students.

Franciscan University of Steubenville has, to its credit, several student clubs and organizations. These include the Phi Alpha Honor Society, Computer Science Club, FUS Red Cross Club, Commuter Student Association, Latinos for Christ, and Students for Life.
