The Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, also known as Olin College, is a private, undergraduate engineering college located in Needham, Massachusetts. Established in 1997 by the F. W. Olin Foundation, the college offers degrees in electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, and systems design as well as others. In 2006, Olin was selected for Newsweek's 2007 guide, as one of "America's 25 New Ivies”.
Students at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering can participate in various events organized on campus, such as Make Your Own Documentary, Latin Dance, Choral Music, Chinese Conversation, and Current Events Table. The campus also hosts several student clubs and organizations such as the Butterfingers Club (Juggling), the Babson-Olin Catholic Association (BOCA), the Cooking Club, and the Comic Book Club.
