Overview

Frederick Community College was established in 1857 as an evening school. The college is located in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains in central Maryland. There are more than 70 degree programs and certificate courses that the college offers its students. FCC enrolls more than 15,000 students on an annual basis.

The students at FCC are involved in a range of organizations and clubs, including Anime Club, Ceramics Club and Black Student Union. The FCC Commuter is the student-run newspaper of the school. The creative arts magazine, Tuscarora Review, is organized and published by the students of FCC.
