Overview

Front Range Community College, or FRCC, was founded in 1968 as the North Campus of the Community College of Denver. The college adopted its present name in 1984 and became an autonomous college in 1985. Apart from its Westminster Campus, FRCC also has campuses in Boulder County and Larimer. In addition, it offers a learning center in Brighton.

FRCC has several degree and certificates programs and is organized into many academic departments. Some of these departments are computer information system and technology, foreign languages, social and behavioral sciences, business, information systems and technology, and communications and mass media. The college also offers scholarships such as the Baccalaureate Bound Scholarship, Colorado Centennial Scholars, and Daniels Scholarships.

Some of the student clubs and organizations of FRCC are the Chess Club, Nursing Leaders Organization, Student Government Association, Video Game Club, Environmental Club, and Comic Book Club.
