Overview

Galveston College, also known as GC, is a comprehensive community college located on Galveston Island in Galveston, Texas, United States. It was established in the year 1967. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. The college also provides online training programs. The student body at GC is diverse and includes an impressive number of international students.

GC’s campus is home to several student clubs and organizations which are based on varied interests such as academic, sports, and economics. Some of the popular organizations are the African American Club, Exposures Unlimited, Hispanic Student Organization, Island Potters, Nuclear Medicine Club, and Phi Theta Kappa.
