Gateway Community And Technical College

Gateway Community and Technical College, also referred to as GCTC, has Kentucky campuses in Boone County, Covington/Park Hills and Edgewood. The college also holds classes in downtown Covington. Online classes are available via an alliance with the Kentucky Virtual University. Founded in 2002, GCTC is one of sixteen colleges that make up the state of Kentucky's Community and Technical College System.

Students of GCTC are offered over 200 credentials, including degrees, diplomas, and certificates, in 30 areas of study including information technology, healthcare, industrial technology, nursing, and business. The student population is approximately 3500. The school also partners with several hundred businesses to offer short-term training to more than 3,000 other people.

Some of the student organizations available at GCTC include: Multi-Cultural Student Organization, National Technical Honor Society, Phi Rho Pi, Phi Theta Kappa, the American Criminal Justice Association, Student Government Association and Student Ad Club.

Gateway Community and Technical College (GCTC) is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for its degree programs. It is also accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
