Founded in 1968, GateWay Community College is one of ten Maricopa Community Colleges. It is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The college offers a wide range of practical education programs, including workforce training in several occupational fields. GateWay’s campus is home to the Maricopa Skill Center and the Alternative Fuels Training Consortium training center.
GateWay’s athletic teams participate in a wide variety of sports, including cross country, softball, golf, baseball and tennis. Its official mascot is the Gecko.
