Overview

Georgetown College, also known as GC, is a private, liberal arts college located in Georgetown, Kentucky, United States. It was founded in 1829 by the Kentucky Legislature. GC offers a number of majors, minors, and academic programs in various fields. These programs are offered through several departments including Arts, Biology, Business Administration & Economics, Kinesiology, and Health Studies.

Georgetown College offers many opportunities for students to participate in useful extra-curricular activities through student organizations such as the Fine Arts Organizations, Honors Organizations, Service Organizations, Student Government Association, and The Georgetonian. Greek organizations on campus include Alpha Kappa Delta, Alpha Lambda Delta, Alpha Psi Omega, Beta Beta Beta, Delta Omicron, and Student Government Association.

Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Mid-South Conference for major sports.
