Overview
Georgia College & State University is a public, co-educational university located in Milledgeville, Georgia. It was established in 1889 as a women's college known as Georgia Normal & Industrial College. The college was later renamed as Georgia State College for Women. In 1967, it was renamed again after it became co-educational, this time as Georgia College. The college was given its current name in 1996.
