Georgia Highlands College is also referred to as Georgia Highlands, and is located in Rome, Georgia. Georgia Highlands was established in 1968 and the classes started in 1970. Originally the college was known as Floyd Junior College, named after Flloyd County. The two-year college offers its students various degree and certificate programs. This college is under the University System of Georgia.
Georgia Highlands offers a variety of student clubs and organizations including the Baptist Student Union, the Human Services Club, Psi Beta, Student Engagement Council and Culture Awareness Society.
