Overview

Georgia Military College-Augusta Campus is a two-year, public college located in Fort Gordon, Georgia. It was founded in 1879 by act of the Georgia General Assembly. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

GMC Augusta boasts of an active student life. The campus is home to a wide variety of clubs, organizations and honor societies, including the Student Honor Council, Phi Theta Kappa, Student Honor Council and the Computer/Business Club. The GMC newsletter is published every quarter. The athletic teams of GMC Augusta are nicknamed the Bulldogs.
