Overview

Georgian Court University, also known as GCU, is a private, Mercy university located in Lakewood, New Jersey, United States. It was established in the year 1908 by the Sisters of Mercy. Georgian Court University was designated a National Historic Landmark on February 4, 1985. GCU offers over 30 majors through its two academic divisions - the Women's College and the University College. The colleges are organized into the following academic schools:
