Overview
Gettysburg College is a private, national, four-year, liberal arts college located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in the year 1832 as a sister institution for the Lutheran Theological Seminary. The campus spreads across an area of 200 acres. Gettysburg College offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.
Gettysburg student body is impressive. It includes students from over 40 states and more than 30 countries. The college’s athletics department sponsors both men’s and women’s sports teams, which participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. The sports teams are nicknamed the Bullets.
