Gogebic Community College

Gogebic Community College was originally founded as the Ironwood Junior College in 1932. It is a member of the Michigan Community College Association and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The 260-acre campus of GCC is located in Ironwood, Michigan, and enrolls more than 1,000 students every year.

Gogebic Community College offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Applied Technology and Associate of Applied Business degrees. Certificate programs of study are also available.

The college supports a large number of student clubs and organizations, including the Drama Association, A.D.A.P.T, an Alpha Rho Chi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, The Student Senate and the Pep Band. The sports teams of GCC are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I, and participate in men’s and women’s basketball.
