Overview

San Diego Golf Academy, also referred to as SDGA, was established in 1974 as the first campus of the Golf Academy of America. This 2-year golf school, which is the oldest of its kind in the world, is located in Carlsbad, in San Diego County in California. SDGA also operates other campuses in Orlando, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Honolulu, Hawaii.

San Diego Golf Academy offers associate’s degree programs in golf complex operations and golf management. The curriculum is comprised of classroom instruction, tournaments, open play, and practice training.

Students of SDGA are offered a wide array of support services including academic counseling and career assistance. Financial assistance is offered through Federal grants and loans and Education and Training Voucher Programs.
