Overview

Goshen College was established in 1894 as the Elkhart Institute of Science, Industry and the Arts. It is a private college of liberal arts located in Goshen, Indiana. The campus of the college is spread across an area of more than 130 acres. Goshen College offers its master's degrees in environmental science through the Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center. Goshen College offers over 30 majors and more than 30 minors. It also provides a number of pre-professional programs in various fields of study.

Goshen College's students participate in a number of clubs and organization, including the Goshen Student Women's Association, the Catholic Student Association, the Goshen College Nursing Student Association, the Social Work Action Association and the Sitting Club. The college also sponsors athletics teams in baseball, soccer, volleyball, football, softball, rugby, basketball, cross country and track & field.
