Grand View College, also referred to as GV, is located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It was established in 1896. It became Grand View University on November 6, 2008. It also has another campus in Johnston, Iowa. As of 2008, the university offers more than 35 majors and several certificate programs. GV also has approximately 88 full-time faculty members and 85 part-time faculty members.
GV is home to a number of Greek Letter Organizations such as Alpha Psi Omega, Beta Beta Beta, Alpha Sigma Lambda, Phi Eta Sigma, Theta Alpha Kappa, Alpha Mu Gamma, and Phi Beta Lambda. The university also has many student clubs including the Campus Crusade for Christ, Education Club, Grand View Council on International Relations, Students in Free Enterprise, and Psychology Club.
GV competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and is a member of the Midwest Collegiate Conference. Their sports teams are known as the Vikings.

Housing and MealsGrand View provides on-campus housing for 556 of its 1,503 (full-time) students (as of 2007). The school requires freshmen to live on campus. Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 20 meals weekly.
Grand View AthleticsGrand View is in the Midwest Classic Conference for major sports. Grand View offers financial aid for athletes.
