Overview
Grand View College is now Crand View University and is located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It was established in 1896. It became Grand View University on November 6, 2008. It also has another campus in Johnston, Iowa. As of 2008, the university offers more than 35 majors and several certificate programs. GV also has approximately 88 full-time faculty members and 85 part-time faculty members.
GV is home to a number of Greek Letter Organizations such as Alpha Psi Omega, Beta Beta Beta, Alpha Sigma Lambda, Phi Eta Sigma, Theta Alpha Kappa, Alpha Mu Gamma, and Phi Beta Lambda. The university also has many student clubs including the Campus Crusade for Christ, Education Club, Grand View Council on International Relations, Students in Free Enterprise, and Psychology Club.
GV competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and is a member of the Midwest Collegiate Conference. Their sports teams are known as the Vikings.

Athletics
School sports include football (Mid-States Football Association), basketball (Midwest Classic Conference), baseball (Midwest Classic Conference), and track (Midwest Classic Conference).
The school offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 95 male students received the aid (men were 51% of those receiving aid) and 90 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 49% of students receiving such aid) .
