Overview

Greensboro College, also known as GC, is a four year, independent, coeducational institution located in Greensboro, North Carolina. GC was founded in the year 1838. The college campus is spread across an area of 80 acres. GC offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in several subjects including arts, business administration, music education, and science. The college also offers several special programs in athletic training education, and criminal justice, as well as executive bachelor's degree and honors programs.

Greensboro College supports a wide variety of clubs and organizations. Students are members of the Greensboro College Martial Arts Club, Presbyterian Campus Ministries, Strong Sisters United, and Alpha Xi Delta. “The Collegian” is the campus newspaper published by the students.
