Overview

Griffin Technical College, also known as GTC, is a public, two-year, post-secondary college situated in Griffin, Georgia, United States. It was established in 1963. It was originally founded as the Vocational Technical School of Griffin-Spalding County Area. After a few name and status changes, it officially became Griffin Technical College on July 6, 2000. The college offers enrollment to more than 3,500 part-time and full-time students every year. GTC offers several diplomas, associate degree programs, and professional certificates in diverse areas of study.

GTC has an active student administration working for the overall development of the students. The campus is home to a variety of student clubs and organizations such as Phi Beta Lambda, Alpha Upsilon Gamma, Student Nurses Association, Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, and National Technical Honor Society.
