Guilford Technical Community College

Guilford Technical Community College, also known as GTCC, is a two-year, accredited, community college located in Guilford County, North Carolina, United States. It was established in 1958. It is part of the statewide North Carolina Community College System. The college offers certificates, one-year and two-year career-related programs, and a two-year college transfer program in diverse areas of study. It also provides personal enrichment courses, several adult literacy opportunities, and training for business and industry. GTCC enrolls more than 40,000 students.

GTCC’s main aim is to provide the people of Guilford County the training and education they require to compete in the job market. The mission of the college is to provide access to lifelong learning opportunities for workforce productivity, personal growth, and community service. There are several student clubs and organizations on campus that contribut to the overall development of students. Some of the organizations are Advertising Club, Alpha Eta Rho, Cosmetic Art Club, and International Student Association.
