Overview
The Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service is a 2-year, co-educational institute located in Decatur, Georgia. L. A. Gupton founded the school in 1920 in Nashville, Tennessee as the Gupton-Jones School of Embalming. Its name was changed to the Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in 1980. The building covers an area of more than 17,000 square feet and includes four spacious classrooms, library facilities and administrative offices. It offers associate’s degrees in Funeral Service.
