H. Councill Trenholm State Technical College was established in 1963. In the year 2000 the institution merged with John M. Patterson Technical School to form Trenholm State Technical College. As both colleges were technical institutes, the merger did not affect the status of the colleges. H. Councill Trenholm State Technical College is located in Montgomery, Alabama. The campus of the institution spreads across an area of 35-acre. H. Councill Trenholm State Technical College offers various degrees in a number of streams. It operates as division of the two-year Alabama Community College System. The college provides courses online. Adult education programs are also provided in the college.
