Overview
Hampshire College is situated in Amherst, Massachusetts, United States and was established in 1970. The association of this college together with four other colleges – Smith College, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Amherst College, and Mount Holyoke College, are called the Five Colleges system. Students can obtain degrees and certificates in diverse fields of study which include applied design, computer science, creative writing, marine science, and mathematics. This college is organized into five interdisciplinary schools, which are:

Hampshire College is home to over a 100 student clubs and organizations which include Crazy Pitches, James Baldwin Scholars, Yellow Bike, Mixed Nuts, Red Scare, Climbers’ Coalition, and Hampshire College Slam Collective.
