Overview

Harcum College is a private, coeducational junior college located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Edith Hatcher Harcum established the school in 1915. Originally just a women’s college, male students were allowed to enroll in HC in the 1970's. However, the college did not become officially coeducational until December 8, 2003. The college offers programs in a number of fields, including dental hygiene, interior design, criminal justice, nursing, and radiologic technology.

The athletics teams of Harcum College are nicknamed the Bears. The teams participate in intercollegiate basketball, track and field, and volleyball.
