Overview

Harford Community College was founded in 1957 in Bel Air, Maryland. Expansions took place in the mid-1990s, and HCC's campus now sits on 332 acres of land and includes over 15 buildings. More than 8,000 students enroll in HCC every year. HCC offers several associate degrees in more than 60 programs of study along with certificate programs. The academic divisions of the college are:

The sports teams of Harford Community College are known as the Fighting Owls. There are over 10 athletics teams that participate in basketball, baseball, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, softball and volleyball.
