Harrisburg Area Community College-Harrisburg

Harrisburg Area Community College, also known as HACC, is a community college located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. It serves the greater Harrisburg, Pennsylvania metropolitan area. It was established in 1964. HACC was the first community college in Pennsylvania. It now has more than three campuses throughout south-central Pennsylvania. The main campus is spread across an area of 212 acres.

HACC’s athletic department offers several sports teams. They compete in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. The teams participate in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. The official mascot is known as the Hawks. There are also several student-run clubs and organizations on campus including the International Awareness Club, Live Action Role Players of HACC, Japanese Animation Culture Club, and the Computers and Networking Technology Club.
