Overview

Hartwick Seminary is a four-year, private college of liberal arts and science located in Oneonta, New York, United States. It was established in the year 1797. The main campus spreads across an area of 425 acres. The enrollment at Hartwick Seminary consists of students representing more than 30 states in the U.S. and over 15 countries around the world. The institution offers degrees in nearly 30 majors and more than 10 special minors. In addition, it provides several cooperative programs in the fields of law, business, and engineering, among others. Hartwick students are also provided with opportunities to study abroad.

Hartwick Seminary has an active student life with several on-campus clubs and organizations. Some of these are Civic Engagement Organizations, International club, and Faith-based organization. There are also fraternities and sororities such as Alpha Delta Omega, Alpha Sigma Phi, and Gamma Phi Delta.

Room and Board

Hartwick provides on-campus housing for 1,200 of its 1,467 (full-time) students (as of 2009-2010). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.

Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 21 meals weekly.

Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Empire Eight for major sports.
