Heartland Community College, established in 1990, is located in Illinois. It has campus locations in Normal, Pontiac and Lincoln; the main campus of the college is situated between Chicago and St. Louis, and was opened for students in 2000. It is situated in an area of nearly 160 acres.
Fall 2008 enrollment recorded over 4,000 credit students. The college offers training in over 50 career fields in technically progressive learning facilities.
Heartland Community College offers several clubs and organizations for the student development. The sports teams of the college are nicknamed Hawks and they are members of National Junior College Athletic Association.
