Holy Cross School Of Theology

Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, popularly referred to as HCHC, trace their roots to the Holy Cross Theological School that was established in 1937 in Pomfret, Connecticut. The undergraduate division of this school was established as the Hellenic College in 1968. Hellenic College operates as an orthodox Christian liberal arts institute, and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology operates as a Greek orthodox seminary. Though these two are academically separate entities, they share the same campus and are united to form one community. HCHC is situated on more than 50 acres of land in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Hellenic College offers bachelor’s degrees in the fields of Classics and Greek Studies, Management and Leadership, History, Biology, Psychology, Byzantine art, Music, and Environmental Sciences, among others. Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology awards the Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Master of Theological Studies degrees.

Students of HCHC are involved in on-campus organizations such as the Student Government Association, the Orthodox Christian Fellowship, the Married Student Association, the Campus Activities Board, and the Hellenic Student Association. They are also members of other associations like the HC/HC Dance Troupe, the Hellenic College/Holy Cross Yearbook Committee, and A Cappella Choir.
