Highland Community College, also known as HCC, is located in Freeport, Illinois, United States. It was founded in the year 1962 and is recognized by the Illinois Community College Board. The HCC foundation is the first community college foundation in Illinois. Students can choose from a wide range of academic programs in the fields of business and administrative technology, engineering, history and political science, information systems, medical sciences, and physical education.
Students of Highland Community College’s Freeport campus have access to several student clubs and organizations including Phi Theta Kappa, People of Color, Student Senate, Current Issues Club, Physical Science Club, Environmental Awareness, and Belegarth Club.
