Hiram College

Hiram College was established in 1850. The institution was founded by Amos Sutton Hayden and was originally known as the Western Reserve Eclectic Institute. The current name of the college was given in 1867. It is a private college of liberal arts in Hiram, Ohio. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees are awarded by the institution. Various pre-professional programs are also provided by Hiram College. The college has formulated several programs for weekend college students.

Hiram College is home to more than 60 recognized student clubs and organizations. Some of them are the American Institute of Biological Sciences, the Collegiate Middle Level Association, the Hiram College Association for Computing Machinery, Education Club and the Investment Club. The campus hosts many Greek fraternity and sorority chapters, including Delta Chi Lambda, Phi Beta Gamma and Kappa Sigma Pi.
