Hobart and William Smith Colleges is a liberal arts college located in Geneva, New York, United States. The institute was established in 1822 as Geneva College. In 1852, it was renamed to honor its founder, John Henry Hobart.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ campus spreads across an area of more than 180 acres. The institute offers Bachelor of Science degrees, Bachelor of Arts degrees, and Master of Arts in Teaching degrees to students.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges has over 70 clubs and organizations including Amnesty International, Caribbean Student Association, Druid Society, and Equestrian Club. The college’s sports teams were named the "Statesmen" in 1936. The teams compete in the NCAA Division III.
